The origin of helmets is still a mystery; the oldest use of helmets can be traced back to the ancient Greek soldiers. Helmets have gone through several modifications over a span of time; earlier they were used to protect the head from sword blows and arrows, today we have them in sports, roads, construction etc. The basic concept of protecting the head hasn’t changed however.
